ABOUT

Lucide Post is led by colourist Sarina McCavana, specialising in docuseries, feature documentaries, commercials, major global brand campaigns, short films, and music videos.
With over 15 years of dedicated grading expertise backed by extensive experience in post and production environments, Sarina’s work focuses on delivering consistent, controlled grades across broadcast and streaming releases. Her approach is grounded in hands-on experience across the full production pipeline, from capture through to final delivery.

Her credits include projects for
Sony, Discovery+, BBC Four, Channel 5, Vice, Bloomberg, MTV/Paramount+, Tubi, FIFA+, Red Bull TV, Saatchi & Saatchi, RSA, WPP, alongside brand and commercial grades for Mustang, Ford, Nissan, Nike, Adidas, Reebok, Starbucks, Microsoft, and M&S.

Before becoming an established colourist, Sarina worked across production and post-production roles in independent features, television, and branded content. She directed and self-shot environmental films for
BBC World across Africa and Central America, often managing complete production-to-post workflows across multiple locations.

Her experience also includes media wrangling, complex workflows, and building post-production setups, giving her a clear understanding of how each stage of the colour pipeline and colour management shape the final image.

Known for her conscientious, collaborative approach, she works closely with directors, DoPs and creative teams. Her approach is unobtrusive: listening carefully, understanding the creative intent, and ensuring every shot feels cohesive and true to the story. Whether meticulously matching complex sequences or offering technical or stylistic guidance, her focus is always on enhancing the production team's vision through colour that feels natural, considered and authentic.

Lucide Post was founded in 2018 in response to client and agency demand, delivering professional, high-quality colour grading services.

Sarina is a
certified DaVinci Resolve Colourist.
